Shelton Goes to 10

It's been a while, but Chris Shelton made it to 10 homers in April tonight. His homer helped chase Brad Radke after just 2 1/3 innings. Radke allowed two long balls tonight, and with six earned runs allowed, Brad's ERA stands at 8.89. I have to suspect there's something wrong with Radke. Often, when a pitcher ages and loses his good fastball, he can compensate by improving his control. But Radke's control is so good, he has no where to go. Maybe he's just hit the wall of age.

Jaret Wright

So my blog is down again. I'll be posting here until further notice. Jaret Wright pitched a poor first inning, and he keeps giving up hits, but the New York defense turned four double plays behind him so far. Wright's hanging in against Halladay; it's still 2-0 Toronto in the fifth.

There's a denial of service attack at Hosting Matters, which is why you can't get at
my main blog page. I'm not sure when the site will be back up.

Update: The main site looks like it's back up.
